Randy Gordon was named President/CEO of the Long Beach Area Chamber of Commerce in 1994 and retired as President/CEO of the Long Beach Area Chamber of Commerce in 2020. Gordon is a past-Chairman of the Board for the Western Association Chamber Executives and holds the distinction as an Accredited Chamber Executive (ACE). Recipient of the Executive of the Year, Russell E. Pettit Memorial “Excellence In Leadership” awards. Past President of CA Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives, current board member of the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives and he holds a CCE (Certified Chamber Executive) distinction, one of only 400 executives have ever received this honor.

A graduate of the U.S Chamber Institute for Organization Management at San Jose State University, former instructor at the Stanford and Loyola University Institutes, graduate from the U.S. Chamber’s Academy at Notre Dame, and a past trustee for the National Board of the Institute. Past Chairman of the CA Chamber of Commerce Advisory Committee, and past board member of their Board of Directors. Member of the U.S. Chamber’s Committee of 100.

Community service and advisory positions; St. Mary Medical Center, Long Beach City College Foundation, Precious Lamb Preschool, and the Long Beach Grand Prix Foundation. Past-Chairman of the Miller Children’s Hospital Advisory Board, and past President of the Long Beach Ronald McDonald House. He was the original Treasurer who was instrumental in helping raise 6.2 million dollars to build the house.

A graduate of Leadership Long Beach and past president of the Rotary Club of Long Beach. Gordon enjoys donating his time to dozens of non-profit organizations as their live auctioneer. A Cerritos College graduate and recently inducted into their 2018 Hall of Fame. He is a graduate of California State University, Fullerton. He and Nancy Becker have six grandkids.
