Our hospital is honored to be part of Long Beach's latest affordable housing project called "Spark at Midtown." Thanks to the Linc Housing Corporation project designed by City Fabrick, 95 Long Beach families will now have a safe and comfortable home with access to an onsite YMCA and a Dignity Health - St. Mary Medical Center clinic to help manage their health and wellness.

Carolyn Caldwell, President and CEO of St. Mary Medical Center has been named the 2021-2022 chair of the board for the Long Beach Chamber of Commerce. Carolyn shared "being a part of the chamber was one of the first things I did when I came to Long Beach because I know the work of a chamber can lead to a stronger, healthier community for all."

Recent Grant Awards
St. Mary Foundation has recieved numerous grant awards in recent months to support our ministry. St. Mary Foundation was awarded $55,600 grant to provide support the Nurse Scholars program by the Rudolph J. & Daphne A. Munzer Foundation as well as $30,000 grant from the Earl B. & Lorraine H. Miller Foundation for the Low Vision Center's School Vision Screening Program.
